After a long wait Apple iPhone 16e is finally here. Apple finally launched its most affordable iPhone of 2025- iPhone 16e. The smartphone is powered up by the A18 chip for fast performance and it also features Apple Intelligence.

The Apple iPhone 16e comes in three variants- 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities. The price of the base variant with 128GB of storage starts at Rs. 59,900, and the 256GB and 512GB storage configurations are price at Rs. 69,900 and Rs. 89,900, respectively.

The iPhone 16e will be ready for pre-order starting 6:30 PM on February 21. The smartphone will go on sale starting 28th February. Customers can pre-order the phone from the official site of Apple, any nearby authorised Apple retail stores or any leading e-commerce platforms in the country.

Currently the company has not yet officially announced any special sale or cashback offers with the iPhone 16e. But it is expected that the authorized Apple retailers like iMagine, iEmporium, and others might announce the offers once the sale starts.

The newly unveiled iPhone 16e which is a dual SIM (Nano+eSIM) handset runs on iOS 18, with which users will be able to update their primary iPhone language to Bangla, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, or Urdu.
IPhone 16e comes up with a 6.1- inch Super Retina XDR Display with Ceramic Shield front cover and tough back glass and with a 60Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness. The company says that the Ceramic Shield front cover has an advanced formulation that is tougher than any other smartphone glasses, and the toughest back glass in a smartphone.
The device’s core is made up by Apple’s latest-generation A18 chip. It is claiming that the 6-core CPU will be up to 80% faster than the A13 Bionic chip on iPhone 11, and is complemented by a 4-core GPU to handle graphics-heavy tasks.
Talking about the camera, the phone has a 48MP Fusion camera with an integrated 2X Telephoto lens, which offers optical zoom capabilities. IPhone 16e offers the ability to record in 4K with Dolby Vision up to 60 fps. The device also records video in Spatial Audio for immensive listening with AirPods, Apple Vision Pro, or a surround sound system, and it enables more ways to edit video sound with Audio Mix.
More than this, the phone includes Apple’s satellite features, enabling Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages, and Find My functionality even outside of cellular and Wi-Fi coverage.
Just like the iPhone 16 series lineup, iphone 16e is also bult for Apple Intelligence, the company’s personal AI system. The 16-core Neural Engine is optimized for large generative models and runs machine learning (ML) models up to 6x faster than A13 Bionic.
The device comes with tools like Clean Up in Photos, which is powered by Apple Intelligence, allows users to remove distractions from an image.
The phone has an IP68 water and dust resistance. Other features include Face ID, Action Button for quick access to frequently used features and visual intelligence tools, and charging options, which includes both wireless and USB-C wired.
