Lava’s Prowatch X Launched In India With IP68 Rating Priced At Rs 4,499: Check Out More Details

India based smartphone company, Lava has launched its affordable flagship smarwatch, the Prowatch X in India, under the Prowatch sub-brand. It is priced at Rs 4,499 and it comes with combines health tracking features, attractive design and with a decent battery performance.

The Prowatch X has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels and 500 nits of peak brightness.

The screen of the smartwatch is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartwatch is powered up by a dual-core ATD3085C processor, and the Prowatch X ensures compatibility with both iOS and Android smartphones.

The company claims that the smartwatch comes with a 300mAh battery that provides up to 10days of usage on a single charge. For those who use GPS tracking or those who are engaged in Bluetooth calling, the device offers 17 hours of GPS usage and 5 hours of Bluetooth calling.

Talking about health and fitness tracking, the Prowatch X has a HX3960 PPG sensor for heart rate and Sp02 monitoring, a six-axis accelerometer, and an altimeter for tracking activities and elevation.

The smartwatch tracks over 110 sports and workouts, while offering metrices like V02 Max, HRV, body energy monitoring, and sleep tracking. Adding this it also features intelligent exercise recognition for a more personalised fitness experience.

The smartwatch features an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

LAVA Prowatch X Where To Buy, Availability, And Discounts

The Prowatch X will be available for pre-order from 15th to 18th February, with an instant Rs 1,000 discount for customers using any bank debit or credit card. The smartwatch will officially go on sale on Flipkart starting February 21, 2025 and it will be available in Cosmic Grey, with metal, nylon, and silicone strap options.

Techarc Benchmarking Reveals LAVA Prowatch X’s Accuracy

According to a benchmarking study by Techarc, the Prowatch X was compared to the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2 to measure its performance in key health metrics, and the study showed that the Prowatch X outperformed the CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2 by 36% in terms of measurement accuracy, bringing it closer to one of the top smartwatches in the industry- the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

The study showed that Prowatch X gives near-identical results to the Apple Watch Ultra 2 in fitness tracking, activity tracking, and sleep monitoring. In heart rate measurements, only a small deviation found. In terms of GPS connectivity, the Prowatch X performed closely to the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
